As you ...Thank you Bob for that interesting entry.<br /><br />As you will be aware we have not had the weather for outside curling recently ( over 20 years I think since the club last played here).<br /><br />After lots of difficultly I got permission to rebuild the club house into a small domestic house. It was sad to make that decision, but it was sad to see the old club house slowly disintegrate. We are as I write, just finishing the rebuilding the brick walls reusing the original bricks.<br /><br />The new (tiny) house will of course the called The Curling Club. I thought we should put the date of the original construction. I thought 1850 - MDCCCV.
